Rock City Escape was proclaimed PUBLIC FAVORITE OF THE NETHERLANDS by ESCAPETALK.NL and recently received, for the second year in a row, a certificate of excellence from TRIPADVISOR!

We achieve this ongoing success by constantly raising the bar and constantly looking for new ways to take our visitors on adventures. Our employees play an indispensable role in this, so are you disciplined and quality oriented, but above all super fun to work with? Then we are looking for you!

We are currently looking for:

GAMEHOSTS for 0-40 hours a week

As a GAMEHOST at Rock City Escape you have an extensive range of tasks. You receive our guests in a MYSTERIOUS way. You don’t have to put on costumes or perform an entire act, but you do need to have a bit of feeling for THEATER. You’re not afraid to stand in front of a group and don’t hesitate to do some acting.
After you have locked our visitors in one of our escape rooms, you will be a GAME MASTER. With the help of the camera’s and microphones in the escape rooms you will keep a close eye on the game for an hour. It is important that you remain FOCUSSED, you are RESPONSIBLE for the safety of our guests and the QUALITY of the game. A lot in our escape rooms is computer-controlled, but you can control the game by using hints. It is important that you EVALUATE the people in the room by looking at their body language and listening to their reasoning. So you should also enjoy looking at a screen and ANALYSING people.

After the game, our guests will like it when you chat ENTHOUSIASTICALLY with them. One of the nice things about this work is that almost everyone comes out of the room full of energy, but even if a team hasn’t made it, it’s important that you can make sure they leave with a good feeling about themselves.
After our guests have left you prepare the escape room for the next group. It is important that you are able to work flawlessly with an EYE FOR DETAIL, so that you immediately notice if something is broken. If small repairs are needed, it’s nice if you are HANDY with tools and that you THINK IN SOLUTIONS, but don’t panic.
At the end of the day, you and your colleague are responsible for making sure everything is neat and tidy again for the next day. So you should want to make sure everything is in order and not shy away from, for example, vacuuming and cleaning the toilets.
